Venom, Let There Be Carnage: Crashing the Wedding

I prepared severa ani-concept for the final battle and red wedding scenes.
The requests was to help making Carnage feel threatening and Venom and gang feel in actual danger.

Carnage is, in his own mind, a god.
Therefore he would officiate the wedding. He would also be the congregation, the choir, and the flower arrangements. Kletus' mother, father, grandmother.. all Kletus' victims would be attending.. through Carnage.

I was asked to find ideas for how to make it feel like Dan's burning of Carnage produced some actual damage.

Similarly, I was tasked with exploring ways to make Venom choice of sacrificing themselves to save Annie feel impactful an deadly.
So I came out with these shots.

An alternative idea I prepared for the scene in which Eddie falls from the Tower.
Dan might be the safe option.. but there is still something there I know it!

I made these studies for the shot in which Kletus turns into Carnage.

The director wanted to show how Carnage and Kletus are bonded at a molecular level, more then just a symbiote suit over the body, like with Eddie.

n idea my boss had, in which Carnage and Venom play baseball with a spiky Carnage- projectile as ball and a church bench as bat.

I wanted to focus on the difference between Venom, the lethal protector, and Carnage completely insane style of fighting.
Kletus would be all about hurting, maiming and severing, Venom would generate shields, lassos and tendrils.
